The £1million flop is wanted by Dutch side Heracles and may move back on a temporary loan deal a year after he joined Wolves.

Reports suggest the deal is already done, but the Express & Star understands that conversations between the clubs are at an early stage.

Gladon has only played 196 minutes of football for Wolves and hasn't been involved in pre-season training this week. The 25-year-old is currently in his native Holland.

The striker's last appearance came back in September under Walter Zenga.

The Italian's successor Paul Lambert criticised the Dutchman two months after taking charge, saying Gladon wasn't 'up to speed' for the Championship.

Lambert later said: "Paul has maybe found it hard himself. I think it's maybe thrown him as well, how hard it is.

"I've just got to go with ones I think can do it, week in week out.

"Maybe he'll come to me and say it's not worked, which is fine, no issues."

Wolves would be keen to recoup as much of Gladon's £1m fee as possible but with a shortage of offers a loan may be the best move for all parties.
