Players, coaches and clubs from across the footballing community have been offering their support to Carl Ikeme.

Players have been sending messages of support to Carl Ikeme

The Wolves goalkeeper is starting an immediate course of chemotherapy after being diagnosed with acute leukaemia.

The 31-year-old Nigerian international was revealed to have the condition after he reported back for pre-season training.

Among those to sending messages on Twitter were teammates Michal Zyro, and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, while local rival goalkeepers Neil Etheridge of Walsall and Albion's Ben Foster also paid tribute.
