Wolves take on Czech side Jablonec tomorrow in the last of their Austrian tour friendlies before flying home to England on Wednesday.

Dicko has helped them to two victories so far with a goal in both victories over Werder Bremen and Viktoria Plzen.

He's pleased with his own form – and enjoying a new playing style under Nuno.

"It's been quite a good few games for me and the team as well which is good to see," Dicko said.

"If I am really picky I'd say three goals in three because we played with the under-23s and I scored then as well.

"So for personal confidence I feel good. The way we play is good for everyone, I think we all enjoy it and I certainly do.

"We've managed to create quite a good amount of chances so far and as a striker its always a bit easier to score when you have good chances.

"That's what I've managed to do. Hopefully it will continue."

Under Nuno Wolves are playing a new 3-4-3 formation which has showed plenty of promise in the two pre-season matches so far.

Dicko believes it suits the squad, even if they're being made to work hard by the new boss with daily double sessions until yesterday's first afternoon off.

"I certainly like it," the 25-year-old added." We play as a team already, that's how I feel, even though there's some new players and a new manager.

"I feel like it suits us at the minute, hopefully it can only get better. We have the players and we've played two good teams and managed to do good.

"It's only the beginning but if we can keep going this way and improving it's going to be a good season for us.

"It's been a tough pre-season but I've enjoyed it because I needed it. It's been a completely different pre-season to what I've seen recently at Wolves – a lot of ball work but really intense.

"Everything we're doing is with the ball and I think it shows on the pitch.

"Sometimes we're a bit tired in training sessions and stuff but we kept working and focused. In the end we've improved a little bit since the beginning of pre-season.

"This is down to the philosophy of the manage and his way of viewing things. His new philosophy hasn't been a problem for us and that's good for everyone."

It's Dicko's first full pre-season for two years after his horrendous cruciate knee ligament injury, which kept him out of action for 14 months.

He certainly looks to be reaping the rewards of his hard work after his excellent goalscoring start.

The Mali international isn't getting carried away but he and the players are excited about what they can achieve this season, starting with the first game against Middlesbrough two weeks on Saturday.

"Pre-season is important for any player especially a player like me who is very powerful, who has a good physique," Dicko added.

"If I don't have these basics I think it's hard for me to play at the top of my game. I was back from a really bad injury so there are a lot of things that weren't helping me last season.

"I think sometimes the way we play wasn't easy for me as well. Now it's only the beginning, I've scored some goals, it's good for me, hopefully this will be a good sign for the season.

"I want to stay focused and keep this way for the fans that have been behind me, that have supported me, and the club and my family.

"From day one we're all looking forward to the first game. As the weeks go you look at bit more at the first game. Now its all about building the confidence and the philosophy, learning the new way of the manager.

"We have to take it game by game, not to jump too quickly. We're still learning and we have to be ready for the first game."
