Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo nominated for monthly award
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has been nominated for the August Championship Manager of the Month award.
Nuno has led Wolves to fourth in the table during his first five league games in charge of the club, winning three games and amassing ten points from a possible 15.
That run includes wins over promotion-hopefuls Middlesbrough, Derby County and Hull City.
He's joined by Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen, Neil Warnock of Cardiff City and former Wolves man Mick McCarthy - who has secured four wins from five games with Ipswich to start the season.
The winner will be announced on Friday 8th September, with former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trader Mikey Mumford making up the judging panel.
