Nuno Espirito Santo has demanded Wolves 'react immediately' after they gave up top spot in the Championship with defeat to QPR.

A late winner from Matt Smith condemned Nuno's team to their third defeat of the season.

They tomorrow make the long trip to Norfolk to take on eight-placed Norwich City at Carrow Road.

And Nuno wants to see instant improvements from his team after the lacklustre display at Loftus Road.

"We have to react immediately," he said.

"We cannot take too much time for sorrow. We start thinking about Norwich.

"We'll take a good look at the QPR game, rest and analyse.

"Football always gives you a chance (to bounce back). it's going to be a tough cycle of games and we have to perform better than Norwich.

"We know what we have to do, we're dealing with a tough competition – we have to be consistent game after game.

"I don't think there'll be any problem lifting the players because we don't get carried away with wins.

"Our level of focus and dedication must be always the same. Each game you must have 100 per cent motivation.

"It's always a challenge to react. It's the same situation when we win or lose - the dedication has to be always the same.

"You have to only worry about your tasks and perform well – results will come after."

Wolves were well below their usual standards against Ian Holloway's QPR.

Goals from substitute Matt Smith and fellow striker Conor Washington earned the hosts a 2-1 win, with Leo Bonatini notching his eighth goal of the season to equaliser in between.

There were a number of defensive lapses from Nuno's side and he wants to eradicate that quickly.

"We conceded things we normally wouldn't do – we normally aren't so vulnerable in defensive situations," the head coach said.

"We have to take a good look at that. In the second half we did play better and created enough chances to go away with a different result.

"We should win but it's not the point."

Romain Saiss misses tomorrow's game through suspension after picking up his fifth booking of the season.
