Just over two weeks after beating them 2-1 in an FA Cup quarter-final, Nuno's side won by the same scoreline in the league tonight.

Diogo Jota's cool finish and Chris Smalling's own goal saw them complete the comeback after Scott McTominay's opener – the perfect tonic heading into Sunday's semi-final with Watford at Wembley.

"What pleases me and the players the most is that we have these nights at Molineux," said Nuno, whose side remain seventh in the Premier League too.

"The fans were behind us all the game. When United were controlling the game, they kept singing and backing the team.

"This is what we want in Molineux. Together, we can help each other. Let's do it together.

"I'm pleased with the performance, the way we played. Of course, to do it twice against such a difficult opponent, an amazing team, makes the effort and work of the boys really, really good.

"I'm pleased for the fans. It was another good night for them. I'm pleased with the boys. We have to work and keep going."

Ashley Young saw red for United before the hour mark, picking up a second booking for a reckless lunge on Jota.

Big-money buys Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku were stifled by a Wolves side who kicked into gear once they grabbed the equaliser through Jota.

When asked what the secret is to beating United, Nuno said: "The approach is always the same, against all the opponents.

"United started very well and controlled the game, the way they shape themselves.

"They created a lot of problems, they scored and they were on the front foot.

"But we reacted well. We stayed in shape, stayed organised.

"It is not easy to play against Manchester United, but there's no secret. It's work. The boys ran a lot and managed the game well."

Nuno also said making a vast amount of changes with Watford in mind was never under consideration, and that Jota would be assessed after bearing the brunt of Young's challenge.
