Fulham 0 Wolves 1 - Player ratings
Joe Edwards rates the players after Wolves' dramatic 1-0 win at Fulham.
Rui Patricio
A clean sheet for the Portuguese. Made a couple of routine saves but not forced into anything too strenuous. 7
Nelson Semedo
Struggled a bit against the forward-thinking Robinson in the first half but settled down after the break.
Put in two decent deliveries from free-kicks. 6
Conor Coady
Managed to keep Mitrovic pretty quiet throughout.
Has found it tough against the Serbian in the past but held his own this time around. 7
Romain Saiss
Also much-improved from the defensive horror show against West Ham.
Was not too far away with a second-half free-kick either. 7
Rayan Ait-Nouri
Not troubled too much by Decordova-Reid, in truth.
Was better defensively and got forward a few times without really standing out. 6
Ruben Neves
Worked hard and battled throughout in the middle of the park.
Did not have the influence on the ball he would have wanted, though. 6
Leander Dendoncker
Put himself about and saw a looping header graze the roof of the net in the second period.
Slotted into the back three pretty seamlessly after Neto's early injury, while dispossessing Anguissa to start off the move for Traore's winner. 7
Pedro Neto
Went off with a knock to his knee just after the half-hour mark which does not sound serious.
Had been quiet up until that point. 5
Daniel Podence
Floated a lovely cross over to Jose before ever so harshly being deemed offside.
Still working his way up to speed after a couple of months out. 6
Adama Traore
Like Wolves on the whole, Traore did not do much for large parts. But his winner was a really special moment.
Having the confidence to take the shot on from a tight angle, it was great to see him open his Premier League account for the season. Well done to him. 8
Willian Jose
Will be cursing his luck after having a nice header chalked off by VAR.
Quiet in the second half but hopefully can take some confidence from that finish, even though it was not allowed. 6
Subs
Joao Moutinho (for Neto, 33)
Kept things simple in midfield. Saw a glancing header caught by Areola. 6
Morgan Gibbs-White (for Podence, 73)
Played his part in the goal with a neat turn. 6
Fabio Silva (for Jose, 78)
Another important contribution as a substitute, playing a lovely through-ball to Traore. Clearly growing in confidence. 7
