Liam Keen gives his Wolves player ratings for their defeat at Spurs.

Joao Moutinho of Wolverhampton Wanderers reacts (AMA)

Rui Patricio

The goalkeeper’s life was made harder with some slack defending at times, but overall he did well. Some good saves to add to the highlight reel, despite the disappointing result.

Good saves 7

Ki-Jana Hoever

Any defender will rue coming up against Son Heung-min but Hoever struggled all afternoon. He was partly at fault for the second goal and his positional awareness was poor throughout.

Poor 4

Conor Coady

A commanding display from the skipper who marshalled his defence and impressed. He dragged others through the game when they struggled and made some superb blocks on the line.

Commanding 8

Romain Saiss

A decent display from Saiss who, despite the occasional sloppy moment, was fairly comfortable. He should have scored at the beginning of the second half, however.

Decent 6

Nelson Semedo

Spurs had far too much joy on the right hand side and much of that because Semedo struggled to handle Bale. He was also not helped by Gibbs-White in front of him.

Struggled 5

Joao Moutinho

A comfortable display but in some ways too comfortable. Moutinho coasted through the game and was unable to get a foothold on the ball in midfield.

Coasted 5

Leander Dendoncker

Similar to his midfield counterpart, Dendoncker was unable to assert his presence on the Spurs midfield who dominated.

Average 5

Adama Traore

Traore was Wolves’ biggest attacking threat throughout the afternoon. He had several bursts through midfield and almost single-handedly dragged his side back into the game.

Biggest threat 7

Vitinha

Despite his impressive performances recently, the attacking midfielder was disappointing against Spurs. He failed to get on the ball in dangerous areas and when he did receive it he often gave it away.

Disappointing 4

Morgan Gibbs-White

In the first half Gibbs-White was ineffective going forward and defensively anonymous. In the second half he moved in-field when Vitinha came off and he was far better on the ball.

Ineffective 5

Fabio Silva

Similar to his attacking team-mates the young striker struggled. He was on his own for large parts of the game and did not take the odd chance he had, which were created by Traore.

Isolated 5

Substitutes

Willian Jose (for Vitinha, 61) 5, Ruben Neves (for Gibbs-White, 73) 6, Theo Corbeanu (for Silva, 82). Subs not used: Ruddy, Ait-Nouri, Marcal, Boly, Kilman, Cundle.
