Wolves 1 Manchester United 2 - Player ratings
See how we rated the Wolves players in Nuno's final game in charge of the club.
Rui Patricio
The goalkeeper was not at fault for either goal and made one or two good saves. A decent afternoon for the experienced shot-stopper who needed better protection.
Good saves 6
Nelson Semedo
Semedo was probably Wolves’ man-of-the-match with one of his best displays for the club. He took his first goal in Wolves colours well and was a constant threat in the second half.
Constant threat 8
Willy Boly
The defender had a solid afternoon, particularly in the second half. Against some tricky and quick forwards his positional awareness was spot on to deny them.
Aware 7
Conor Coady
The captain was caught out a few times in behind, especially when Dan James raced behind him and nearly scored. Overall he did fairly well.
Caught out 6
Romain Saiss
Saiss was clumsy to give away the penalty on the stroke of half-time and subsequently he cost his team. A disappointing and thoughtless lunge.
Disappointing 5
Rayan Ait-Nouri
Going forward Ait-Nouri looked threatening but in defence his previous struggles reared their head again. He allowed Anthony Elanga to get across him too easily and head United in front.
Defensive struggles 5
Ruben Neves
A marshalling display from Neves, who protected his defence well and picked up out some nice cross-field passes to the wing-backs. A steady performance.
Steady 6
Leander Dendoncker
Neither incredible nor overwhelming, Dendoncker did the basics well and played a nice ball to Silva that led to the Semedo goal. He was overran in midfield at times, however, and was unable to assert his dominance over the United midfield.
Overran 6
Joao Moutinho
The veteran midfielder seemed to enjoy his slightly advanced role and he occupied some dangerous positions to hurt United. A far better showing than his display at Everton in midweek.
Dangerous 7
Adama Traore
In the end it was a short stint from Traore, who went off injured after 27 minutes. In that time, though, he had some impressive forward runs and got the fans off their seats.
Impressive 6
Fabio Silva
The young striker worked exceptionally hard all afternoon and enjoyed playing in front of Wolves fans for the first time. He proved useful when assisting Semedo and came close to scoring himself.
Hard-worker 7
