Fabio Silva to join Wolves team-mates for Portugal training camp
Fabio Silva will join his Wolves team-mates on pre-season tomorrow with a decision due on his future.
The striker was given an extended break after featuring for Portugal’s under-21s in the European Championships, where they were knocked out by eventual winners England in the quarter-finals.
After his most successful senior season in his young career, where the 21-year-old scored 16 goals over two loan spells with Anderlecht and PSV, Silva is attracting plenty of interest this summer.
Big European clubs Ajax, Sevilla, Roma, AC Milan and Galatasaray have all expressed an interest in taking Silva next season on loan with the option of a permanent move.
Wolves have maintained throughout the summer so far that they are keen to let Julen Lopetegui assess the player in pre-season before making a decision on his future, and Silva will now join up with the team on Friday night (July 21) as they fly out to Portugal for their latest training camp.
