Matt Maher: Selling Matheus Cunha? That's a non-starter for Wolves
Let’s get one thing straight: Wolves cannot afford to sell Matheus Cunha in this transfer window.
The good news for supporters fretting over the future of their star man, is the club know this.
For all that belief in Fosun might be at an all-time low, Wolves’ owners aren’t about to let the player whose performances this season have given them a chance of beating relegation out of the door when the battle against the drop remains such a long way from being won.
It doesn’t mean you aren’t going to put up with an awful lot of noise over the next nine days or so. But for all the talk of bids being “readied” (why does it take so long for clubs to finally decide to send an email or fax), it might be noted Wolves are yet to receive any offers from either Nottingham Forest, Arsenal or anyone else.
