Jones's bid to become Welsh Amateur Champion ended in heartbreak after he was beaten by defending champion Jason Shufflebotham in the final.
The Oswestry-based player went down by one hole at Royal St David's on Saturday.
It followed victories in the competition for Jones against Richard James, Michael Thorne, Luke Williams, Adam Wilson and Huw Williams.
Meanwhile Ludlow's Farr enjoyed his best ever Europro Tour finish, coming joint-second in the Eagle Orchid Scottish Masters at Rowallan Castle Golf Club in Kilmarnock.
Farr scored a total of 207 over three rounds with scores of 71, 67 and 69 to finish level with Ireland's Michael McGeady.
Wales' Stuart Manley, who represents Machynys Peninsula, took first place in the competition by one shot.
