The opening event of the European Tour season had suffered a total wipe-out for the second day running yesterday after torrential rain left parts of the course under water.
But conditions improved today and players were at last to get out on the course.
Busby was three over after the first five holes with the early pace being set by South Africa's Tim Clark, who was three under after 10 holes.
