After carding an impressive one under 71 on the first day at Leopards Creek, Busby found the going tougher today in his second European Tour event.
He was two over (for an overall one over) after completing the outward nine. A double-bogey on the fifth hole left the 30-year-old fighting to make the cut.
Frenchman Gregory Bourdy and home favourite Charl Schwartzel were out in front after finishing their second rounds 13 under.
