Ludlow member Fish enjoyed playing on his home course as the duo claimed the Jeffrey Clee Salver.

Their par score over two rounds was enough to land the title from a field of 57 pairs. The duo enjoyed an excellent start to their first round with four birdies in the opening 11 holes.

Bogeys on the 15th and 16th saw them finish one under and gave hope to the rest of the field heading into the afternoon session. Back-to-back bogeys on the sixth and seventh could have thrown the pair off course.

But they fought back with a one over par 71 that left them two shots clear of their closest challenger at the finish.

Paul McGarry and Richard Pearson were second with Kris Jones and Edward Morley in third.

Scott Harris and Mike Phillips were the nett winners.
