There was plenty of thrills, spills and success for Wrekin Riders as they hosted the Midlands Region BMX Series.
Nearly 300 riders – including some as young as four years old – took to Telford’s £250,000 national standard track to compete in the Series.
The event, staged by British Cycling at Wrekin Riders BMX Race Club in Dawley, was a huge success as a total of 296 competitors battled it out during five hours of non-stop action.
Wrekin enjoyed a fine day with numerous victories and a host of fine performances, much to the delight of club chairman Kieran Edwards.

“Our more experienced riders showed fantastic progression, skill and development.
“Everyone did very well and the event was a huge success once again. I must thank our very small team of dedicated volunteers who make such events happen, along with our club sponsor National Windscreens.”
