They took the derby-day spoils by beating Ludlow 3-0.

It was goalless at the break but Stretton turned on the style in the second half.

Dean Richards broke the deadlock. Adam Groom doubled their lead and an Aaron Gough cross found its way in late on.

They are second with five wins and a draw to their name.

Also in the division, Rock Rovers fell to a 3-0 defeat at FC Darlaston.

Up in Division One, Newport Town are eager to be up the top after being denied promotion due to a ground-share with Eccleshall.

Managed by former Wolves and Telford striker Adam Proudlock, they enjoyed a 4-1 win at Sikh Hunters.

Wellington Amateurs came out on the wrong end of an exciting encounter, losing 3-2 at Bromyard Town.

Allscott were beaten 4-1 by Worcester Raiders at home while Telford Juniors were surprisingly defeated 7-3 at second-bottom Bustlehome.
