The deadly duo both found the back of the net four times as Boca eased to an 8-1 success against Dun Cow in the preliminary round tie. Sam Cross bagged a consolation for Cow.

Dan Parry was another man in fine goal-grabbing form. He plundered a hat-trick to help Harlescott Rangers to a 7-2 away-day triumph at Heath Farm.

Aaron Norris, Tom Linney, Sean Griffiths and Tom Swain added to Parry’s treble with Mike Watkins and Jacob Sorrel on target for the hosts.

There were also hat-tricks for Ant Higgins, Ad Jones and Sean Gough.

Higgins shone in White Lion’s 5-0 win against Saha/Peacock. Jon Thomas and Brendon Price also notched.

Jones’ treble, plus strikes from Christian Oldham and James Mitchell, saw Cruckton Rovers beat Boars Athletic 5-1. Tom Fryer scored for the home side.

Ellesmere went out to Red Barn 6-1 with Gough bagging three of the winner’s goals.

Bomere progressed 5-3 on penalties after their tie with Charles Darwin had ended 1-1.

Unison also bowed out via a penalty shootout against Fountain. The clash had ended 2-2 with Lewis Rock and Tim Eaton on the mark for Unison and Jordon Wellard and Callum Gwilliams for Fountain.

Bull in the Barne went down 4-2 at home to Coton Rovers.

Rich Cole and Matt Brown netted for the hosts, but Matt Allen (two), Paul Henderson and Harry Morris saw Rovers through.

Brockton Rovers maintained their impressive start to the season by beating Dolphin 2-1 in the SHB Challenge Cup. Rob Hartshorn and Matt Brown hit the net for Rovers to cancel out an effort from Matt Walker.

White Horse triumphed 5-4 at Compasses Bay Hill thanks to goals from Scott Wells (two), Darren Edwards, Kev Austen and Sean Cooke. Perry Jones ended up on the losing side despite scoring a hat-trick. Ryan Andrews added White Horse’s other goal.

The Premier Division action saw leaders Instones United make it three wins from three courtesy of a 4-1 success against Loppington\Wem 4-1.

Second-placed Dorrington suffered their first defeat in Division Three. They fell 5-2 at home to an in-form Craven Arms outfit.

Richard Lock and Gary Fulwell netted for the home side but Josh Griffiths, Kieran Edwards, Matt Caslin and two-goal Owen Holdsworth ensured the journey up the A49 was a happy one for Craven.

Strikes from Daz Kay and Adam Taylor delivered the points for Old Post Office at Wheatsheaf. Fred Davies replied for the hosts.

Dun Cow picked up an impressive away-day win in Division Four.

Goals from Sam Davies, Chris Barker, Dan Nutter and Matt Jones saw them beat Talbot\Baschurch 4-0.

Compasses United also lost at home – 6-2 to Coracle Colts.

Hot-shot Ryan Mansell did most of the damage with a four-goal salvo while Jake Falstead netted twice.
