Richard Davies fired a hat-trick to lead the way for the Rhiewsiders, while Charlie Humphreys weighed in with a brace and Joe Haycock got the other in a clinical display.

Despite the defeat, Valley remain two points clear at the top of the table from Caersws, who beat Kerry 10-2 with Rhydian Davies and Phil Jones both scoring twice.

Llanfair United stayed in range of the pacesetters in fourth spot with a hard-fought 4-1 verdict against newly-promoted Builth Wells at the Mount.

Meanwhile, Montgomery stayed four points clear at the top of the Second Division with a 3-1 victory at Presteigne.

Dyffryn Banw won 2-1 at Borth United, while Dolgellau were 3-1 winners against Rhayader Town.

Charlie Proctor was on target for Waterloo Rovers, who finished 1-1 at home to Four Crosses for whom Jamie Evans was on the mark.
