Wanderers all set for a shot at glory
Wrekin View Wanderers have booked an end-of-season shot at silverware.
Wanderers battled their way to a single-goal victory against Cottage Spring in a keenly-contested clash in the semi-final of the Telford Challenge Cup.
They will now face The Talbot in the final at Shifnal Town on May 5.
In the Premier Division, The Talbot took the spoils by the odd goal in five on the road at Wrockwardine Wood Juniors.
Unbeaten leaders Dawley only need one point from their last two games to retain the championship.
There is no change at the top of Division One after title rivals Hop & Vine and Dun Cow both won.
Leaders Hop & Vine battled their way to a 3-2 success against Kings Arms Market Drayton to maintain their five-point lead.
Second-placed Dun Cow, who have a game in hand on the table-toppers, eased to a 5-1 victory at home to Black Horse.
St Georges had a good day on the road at Bulls Head Dawley Bank Vets, taking the spoils 5-2.
Traveller’s Joy achieved the score of the day as they hit six unanswered goals at home to Southwater.
Bell & Bails picked up another point in a 2-2 draw with Barley Mow.
