Six of the team came from Packwood, five of the team came from Moreton School and the final two students were made up from Lucton School.

They beat Cheshire 14-6, Lancashire 7-5 and Yorkshire 19-2 to bring the trophy back with them.

Packwood student Claudia T, who was the co-captain of the team, was voted as the player of the tournament.

The team was picked following trials from the three Shropshire schools as they are the only schools in the county who play the sport.
