Mansell bagged a hat-trick to help secure a 4-0 triumph and the local bragging rights at Shrewsbury Up and Comers.

Cal Routley also netted as Juniors took their goal tally to 10 in two games.

Gobowen Celtic also found their shooting boots to see off visiting AMS FC.

George Hughes led the way with a double as Celtic eased to a 6-1 success, with their cause helped by AMS having two players sent off.

George Morris, Louis Morris, Ed Rogers and an own goal completed the scoring.

Ludlow bounced back from their opening day defeat to get their season up and running.

Ryan Lewis led the way, netting a hat-trick in the 6-2 victory over visiting Wrockwardine Wood Juniors.

Charlie Knowles struck twice to earn Dawley Town a 2-0 win at Madeley Sports.

Dawley started brightly and had an early chance to take the lead when Knowles was fouled in the penalty area.

Dan Hicklin took the spot-kick but saw his effort saved.

Dawley kept on pressing with Knowles and Dan Beddows both denied twice by fine saves.

But the breakthrough arrived before half-time when Knowles cut inside and fired into the net.

And Knowles gave his side some breathing space after the break when he tapped home from close range to make it 2-0.

Madeley cut the deficit but Dawley stood firm to claim the points.
