Telford Tigers announce NIHL National Cup participation
Telford Tigers have confirmed they will be competing in ice hockey’s NIHL National Cup this season.
The news has been announced following discussions with the league and EIHA (English Ice Hockey Association).
Concerns had been raised when details of the competition were revealed last week featuring 12 clubs but with no reference to Tigers.
Tigers will be joining Group D along with Swindon Wildcats, Basingstoke Bison and Bracknell Bees.
Tigers coach and general manager Tom Watkins said: “This is great news for the club and an important competition for us to compete in.”
