The 24-year-old has played hockey in Telford for the past decade and is a product of the junior system.

Griffin started his hockey career with Telford Venom before progressing through Telford Trojans and Titans to then finally pull on a jersey for Tigers.

He accumulated 33 points in 27 games last season, including scoring a goal at the NIHL North play-off weekend.

Player coach Callum Bowley said: "I am pleased Griff is back for next season.

"He’s a great character in the room, he’s respected by all the lads, can shoot the puck really well and more importantly, he’s a player who competes every shift and buys into what’s asked of him.

"He impressed me last season with how he managed to chip in with some really big goals and I expect him to carry more of that goalscoring load next season. Another solid forward addition for us.”

Griffin added: “I’m really happy to be signing for Telford Tigers for the upcoming season and hopefully going one better than last season and win some silverware!”
