The 17-year-old returns to Tigers after a successful spell last year with the senior team who won the NIHL North play-offs, as well as the under-18 team who won the national finals.

Moreland scored 11 points in 22 games last season for the senior team, adding to the 60 secured for the under-18s.

General manager and head coach Tom Watkins said: “I am delighted that Jed is returning this season, he showed last year that he is a very solid player and has the ability to play senior hockey.

“Jed will get an opportunity to log some valuable minutes with us this season to continue his development. He’s a quick forward with a decent skill set and I’m looking forward to him solidifying his place on the roster.”

Moreland added: “I am excited to be back icing in Telford. It’s going to be a tough league this year but I’m looking forward to the challenge. I am excited to work with a team of experienced players to push ourselves to the top spot.”
