Telford Tigers accept Aston ban
Telford Tigers have opted against appealing the four-game suspension handed to forward Joe Aston.
Aston was given a match penalty for fighting and ejected from the game at Whitley Bay Warriors earlier this month.
Head coach Tom Watkins was unhappy with the length of the ban but, after sending an initial approach to the league, Tigers decided there would be little chance of getting it reduced.
Aston has already missed three games and will finish his suspension by sitting out the NIHL North Cup clash with Sheffield Steeldogs on Saturday.
