He earned his side a 4-3 penalty shoot-out victory over a brave Bridgnorth at Greenhous Meadow, with low dive to deny Ryan Guryn.

It ended Bridgnorth's dream of silverware only days after their protracted battle for the West Midlands League title had been lost to Shawbury United.

It was a bitter blow at the end of a dull final that ended 0-0 after extra-time, though Bridgnorth could have settled it in the first half of normal time.

Bridgnorth were livelier for more of the match, with sub Anwar Olugbon hitting the post in the 86th minute.

Evo-Stik Division One South Drayton, cast as the favourites, were fortunate to make half-time without at least a couple of goals conceded.
