Showjumper John Daker books Royal date
Shropshire showjumper John Daker has won a place at the Longines Royal International Horse Show.

Daker, 35, from Bishops Castle, finished second with Credit Card in the SEIB Winter Novice Championship qualifier at Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool. There were 77 starters chasing just two places at the prestigious Royal International at Hickstead in July.
The county rider secured a double clear round, beating the clock in 36.60sec and missing out on first place by less than a second. But second was good enough.
