Victory at Telford Ice Rink means Tigers are now just one point adrift of fifth-placed Swindon – and with two games in hand.

Pirates defied the run of play to take a shock lead after just four minutes.

Telford equalised on 19 minutes through Jonathan Weaver, before taking the lead through Nathan Salem after the break.

Rick Plant extended the advantage on 31 minutes, although Hull pegged them back at the start of the third period.

Salem's second goal of the night handed Tigers a 4-2 lead on 50 minutes, but they again conceded just moments later.

A manic final 10 minutes saw Telford romp home with goals from Jason Silverthorn, Weaver, Max Birbraer and Blaho Novak.

On Saturday night, The Tigers beat Sheffield Steeldogs 8-4. The Yorkshire men took the lead after just 38 seconds, before Joe Miller evened the score two minutes later.

Silverthorn added a treble and other goals were scored by Peter Szabo, Plant, Callum Bowley and Miller.
