The UK qualifiers took place at the Robin Park Centre in Wigan, following on from the three-day Qualifying School.

Pallett was summoned to the oche as the field was first determined for the Dutch Darts Masters, which will take place at the Evenementenhal in Venray from February 12-14.

He was given a bye past the first round as the 15th seed, before taking place in the second round by recording a 6-4 win over Tony Newell.

Pallett recorded the same verdict over Yuji Eguchi to make sure of his place in Venray, but he didn't make the cut for March's German Darts Masters in Munich.

Again, he benefitted from a bye past the first round but, this time, sampled defeat in the second phase. He lost a last leg decider to Callum Loose 6-5.

Pallett is now ranked 44th in the world on the PDC Order of Merit, up a place after picking up £15,000 for his second round run at the worlds. The Pro Tour begins in Venray.
