Pallett has managed to bank just £500 on two occasions over the five PDC Players Championship events held so far,

The Shropshire thrower dropped down a place after the first three tournaments, held at the Barnsley Metrodome in early April.

And the same thing happened to the 26-year-old after the latest two competition, back in Barnsley at the same venue last weekend.

He went out in the first hurdle of Saturday's first event, as the 31st seed pushed out in the last leg 6-5 by Scott Dale.

He returned to the oche for Sunday's second and final meeting, this time beating Mick Todd 6-2 to reach the first money stage. Steve Brown then defeated him 6-4.

Pallett's focus now turns towards the PDC's third European Tour event of the year, the Gibraltar Open which starts on Friday. He'll pick up, at least, £1,000 having qualified to compete in March.

He now sits 46th in the Order of Merit, having come into the start of the Players Championship 44th. He remains 36th in the Pro Tour standings.
