Big win for Bridgnorth
Will Crossley led the scoring as Bridgnorth ran in a massive 11 tries and seven conversions to rout Tamworth 66-3 at home.
Crossley's hat-trick of tries just edged out kicker Simon Fletcher's impressive haul with the boot, which saw him add seven conversions.
Adam Stirling, Craig Thomas, Dan Griffiths, Darren Brick, Gareth Bladen, Jimmy Gore, Luke Stevens and Mike Preece also crossed the whitewash once each.
The dominant display was spoikled slightly by a red card for Ryan Smeilus after a skirmish following some uncompromising tackling by both sides late on.
But there was no disguising that the day belonged to Bridgnorth, who look set to finish a creditable third in Midlands Two West (North) this season.
With only Wolverhampton and Ludlow to play in the league, it looks distinctly unlikely they will be able to catch second-placed Crewe & Nantwich, second, who are nine points clear having played a game more. But they remain in the hunt for cup silverware and can retain the North Midlands Shield when they play Stourbridge Lions in the final on May 11.
Ludlow still harbour hopes of a top-five finish despite going down 26-13 at Willenhall.
They trailed 14-10 at half-time despite a Mark Williams try, Will Sparrow conversion and a penalty.
Sparrow added a further three points with the boot after the break but two further tries for the hosts wrapped up the win
A half-time teamtalk by skipper Andy Smith helped inspire Oswestry to a 13-8 victory at Orrell in South Lancashire & Cheshire Two.
The Eagles had trailed 5-3 at half-time despite Kevin Evans' penalty but Smith urged them to increase their work rate.
And he saw instant results as Luca Owen-youens scored a fine try in the corner soon after the restart, converted by Evans.
An Evans penalty extended their lead and, despite a late Orrell penalty, Oswestry held out to claim the victory.
