Warriors, relegated from the Premiership, are re-energising their Academy with the addition of six regional centres that will open this autumn.

One of the target areas for the club's coaches will be Telford College of Arts and Technology. Hereford Cathedral School, Luctonians Rugby Club, Warwick School, Broadstreet Rugby Club and a Birmingham location to be announced.

Youngsters between the ages of 13 and 18 will receive up to seven hours of coaching time every week.

Warriors' interim chief executive, Anthony Glossop, said: "I believe the introduction of these regional academy centres will be transformational for the club.

"They will allow us to take our brand into new areas to unearth the next generation of Warriors first-team players and supporters."

Director of rugby Dean Ryan said: "The future success of this club will be determined by ensuring we develop our own young players. We will work with players to aid their all-round personal development to ensure they maximise their potential."

The regional centres will operate alongside Warriors' Development Player Pathway programmes and age-group development squads.
