Shrewsbury Lions enjoy rugby league festival success
Shrewsbury Lions are reflecting on a job well done after hosting their first rugby league festival.
Rugby league clubs and teams from around the country checked in at London Road for the day long event.
Different age groups from under-7s up to under-15s played a series of games, with te day proving to be a roaring success.
Shrewsbury Lions train and play throughout the year and encourage children to come down and give the game a try, with the emphasis on developing core rugby skills through fun games.
