Bukayo Saka is a doubt for England’s trip to Finland after limping off against Greece.

The 23-year-old was replaced by Noni Madueke shortly after the visitors opened the scoring on their way to a shock 2-1 Nations League win at Wembley.

England need a response when they return to action in Helsinki on Sunday, with the Arsenal forward’s availability to be checked on Friday.

Interim boss Lee Carsley said: “He is being assessed. Obviously in the in the build up to the first goal, I think you could see he felt something in his leg.”

While Saka could miss out, Carsley is hopeful that skipper Harry Kane and winger Jack Grealish will be able to feature this weekend.

The interim England boss did not want to risk the pair against Greece due to knocks but the duo are in line to train on Friday.

“We’ll assess them two (on Friday),” added Carsley, whose side travel to Helsinki on Saturday afternoon.

“Obviously we’ll train in the morning, and hopefully Jack and Harry will take part in that session.”
