Can everyone take a moment to admire Everton’s commemorative home shirt?

Everton’s kit commemorates 125 years at Goodison Park, and we’d like to commemorate just how lovely it is.

The prelude to the Premier League season is filled with reactions to new kits, but perhaps the best design this summer goes to a golden oldie.

The 2017/18 season marks 125 years at Goodison Park for Everton, and as such the club have released a rather nice-looking commemorative range. The club have a modern top to wear for the regular season, but for now feast your eyes on this nostalgic number that the club wore in a pre-season friendly against Sevilla.

Here’s Michael Keane, fresh from his move to the Toffees from Burnley, looking every inch a 1950s sweeper.

But nobody wears it better than young midfielder Tom Davies, whose low socks and blond locks complete the image.
