The English Premier League leaders remain six points clear at the top, having also beaten Manchester Phoenix 5-2 on Saturday night.

The news of Raszka's departure, however, put a dampener on celebrations. The 26-year-old has accepted an offer to play in Poland.

Tigers head coach Tom Watkins said: "Ondrej has taken an offer to play back home. He's a great guy and has been a big part of the team.

"I can't fault his decision, as everyone has got their own situation to take care of. Signing off with a shut-out was great for him."

Telford went ahead at the halfway point of the game through captain Jason Silverthorn.

Danny Rose, Milan Kolena, Michal Satek and Dan Scott stretched the lead before Kolena scored again in the last minute.
