This year's show promises to offer something for everyone, young or old. With thousands of scale models on show, covering subjects from WW1 and WW2, through to iconic vehicles and characters from TV and movies. It also houses the UK's national scale model competition, with amazing works of creativity from across the UK and beyond.

But that is not all - there are loads of activities to take part in, including Airfix Models' Make & Take and the Bandai Gundam Workshop - and many more hobby demonstrations and talks. If you do feel like a spot of shopping, there will be large and small retailers offering well-known plastic model kits as well as bespoke 3D print and niche products.

Whether you love scale models, or history this is an event that shouldn't be missed. Tickets can be purchased online at ipmsuk.org, £25 per day, with under 16s being able to attend for free when accompanying a paying adult. The show opens at 11am until 6pm on Saturday 9th and 11am until 4pm on Sunday 10th.
