The choir will sing a variety of seasonal pieces, including “The Angel Gabriel”, a lively and tuneful re-telling of Gabriel's story, arranged by David Wilcocks, and "Sing Lullaby!", a traditional Basque carol, with a lovely lilting melodic charm. Angelus et Virginem, a joyous carol, with a dance like setting, will have a beautiful flute solo, and the choir will also perform an arrangement of "The First Nowell" and "Pachelbel's Canon" with the two well-known tunes cleverly combined to great effect, using two flutes and choir. As usual there will also be a number of carols for audience participation.

Children and families are especially welcome, and there will be some special carols in which the children in the audience will be the stars! Mince pies and wine will be available in the interval to add to the festive spirit.

The concert will start at 7pm, and tickets (£8, children and students free) are available by calling 07806 433394, online from TicketSource ticketsource.co.uk/the-marches-choir/t-avgovrz, or can be purchased from choir members or on the night.
