Walcot Hall all set for their Christmas Market and Father Christmas Grotto Experience
Shropshire's Walcot Hall Estate are putting the finishing touches to their annual Christmas Market and Father Christmas Grotto Experience, that will be held at the historic venue this Sunday, 1 December.
Every year the venue's historic ballroom becomes a buzz of activity as artisan makers and seasonal small businesses from across Shropshire come together to showcase their Christmas collections across food, homeware, flowers and gifts. Exhibitors this year include Oak Apple Farm Shop, Bonbonniere Chocolate, Refined Delux Jewellery, Ian Wood Design, Sarah Jameson Art and Shropshire Chocolates.
A magical secret grotto has also been created that children can access from pony treks through the grounds, to see Father Christmas and receive a gift.
A wide selection of seasonal refreshments will be served and visitors will be able to soak up the charm of one of the counties finest venues as it enters the festive period.
Entry to the Christmas Market is £2.50 for adults and free for children. Readers are advised that the Father Christmas Grotto Experience needs to be booked separately. Market entry includes a ticket to win a weekend in one of the estate's ‘hidden treasures’ accommodation cottages or a £50 voucher for their pub The Powis Arms.
Tickets available from: walcothallevents.com/events and are also available on the door.
