Four Shrewsbury colleagues from the same office give birth within months of each other
Four colleagues at Azets in Shrewsbury have given birth within months of each other. Holly George, Tasha Barker, Sarah Clarke and Holly Williams welcomed Charlotte, Lily, Maeve and Jaxon to the world this year.
Qualifying this summer, Holly George was promoted to Senior before her maternity leave. She works alongside Sarah and Holly Williams in the Accounts and Business Advisory Services team, whilst Tasha works on reception in the office.
James Dawson, Partner at Azets in Shrewsbury added: "It’s so lovely to see all four of our colleagues welcome healthy babies into the world within months of each other! Azets is committed to fostering work-life harmony through flexible work arrangements and policies that prioritise personal and family needs, one way being through our Shared Parental Leave benefit which provides flexibility and choice to parents, allowing them to share the care of their child in their first year after the birth of their child or adopting their child or receiving a parental order where having a child through surrogacy. Those returning from parental leave are also offered coaching and mentoring to ease the transition from work to parental leave.
"Our enhanced family leave policies show our commitment to colleagues. By providing 18 full weeks of paid maternity and adoption leave, followed by 12 weeks of half pay, and increasing paternity leave to four weeks of full pay, we’re ensuring our team has the support they need to cherish these important life moments. So, whilst we’re looking forward to the return of Holly, Tasha, Sarah and Holly, we’re building a workplace where family comes first.”
