School children play Secret Santa and gift to those less fortunate
This year the children of Lydbury North Primary School have been modelling the value of compassion through their schooling, this being said, they have decided this year to donate Christmas gifts to those who are in need, in the hope that everyone gets to enjoy the festive period.
The children decided that they would like to become Secret Santas for those in need this Christmas. They have donated a range of small Christmas presents to give to children of families that use the Bishop's Castle food bank. The children are keen to help someone less fortunate than themselves and have a good Christmas with a special present. The children have expressed how good it feels to give to others.
This display of compassion and kindness is exactly what we strive for the children at the school to do more of, to see the sheer generosity from the families has made us all unbelievably proud of our pupils.
