Three cheers for Telford group as they open second gym
With cheerleading named as one of the fastest growing sports in the country in 2024, Cheer Athletics Telford have seen an increased demand for their classes.
From January 2025 'CA Telford' will operate from two fully equipped gyms to serve the young people of the area, and continue to provide them with opportunities to learn new skills and grow in confidence.
Since 2011 Cheer Athletics Telford have prided themselves on providing a safe and professional place for athletes to persevere, feel empowered and push their limits. Becoming the first international location for the world renowned Cheer Athletics in 2023 and now with the opening of our second fully equipped facility they are honoured to be able share our passion for cheerleading and dance to even more young people.
CA/DA are proud to have coached thousands of athletes across Telford and the West Midlands over the last 13 years, achieving the prestigious BBC “coach of the year award” and several runner up “outstanding contribution to sport” awards.
Together they have achieved over a thousand top three placings across hundreds of regional, national and international competitions - including countless national champions, grand champions and choreography awards, 11 world championships bids and a silver World champion title. We’re the home of Team England Dance (Pom) and have coached over 40 of our athletes to successfully become National Team athletes, representing their country over the years.
Whilst their competition achievements are wonderful, it’s the amazing young people involved in CA Telford which are a true sign of our success - our passion lies within our commitment to providing these individuals with opportunities to grow and succeed in life, to be “the best of the best” both on and off the competition floor.

The new timetable has now been released, with even more classes available for all ages and abilities. There really is something for everyone from ages 3+ to adult in both cheerleading, dance and gymnastics.
