A cut above the rest: Shropshire barber takes the crown
James Wakeley, owner of Unknown Barbershop in Shrewsbury has won the title of British Master Barber, Barber of the year 2024.
James won the title after reaching the finals for a few consecutive years, finally taking the crown in 2024. James is looking to build on this success in the coming year by adding more barbers to the team, and introducing more customers to the Unknown family.
James has been cutting hair for nine years in Shropshire honing his craft before settling in Shrewsbury and opening Unknown Barbershop three years ago. James opened the shop with a view of building a family for the community whilst offering a first class service and top class grooming services. Unknown Barbershop is an inclusive space for all.
