Ludlow opticians focuses on children’s safety
An opticians in Ludlow is putting children’s safety first by donating high visibility vests to local schools.
Colleagues from the Specsavers store at 10 Bull Ring provided the brightly coloured tabards to children from Orleton Primary School, Ludlow Primary School and Little Treasures Nursery to wear during their outdoor activities.
Store director at Specsavers Ludlow, Sophie Wragg, says: "With fewer daylight hours during winter, it’s the perfect time to distribute the vests to make sure the children are visible and safe while they are out and about. It also goes hand in hand with our business, which is improving vision and visibility."
"We’d like to say a big thank you to Specsavers Ludlow," adds Adam Breakwell, headteacher at Orleton Primary School. "We’re thrilled with the donation and are looking forward to putting them to good use."
