A retirement community in Telford is starting the new year on a high note, celebrating the continued success of its in-house restaurant, which has once again earned the highest rating of five for food hygiene in its latest inspection.

Located in the heart of Lawley Village, Lawley Bank Court, run by Sanctuary Supported Living, provides a variety of apartments and communal spaces for people aged 55 and over. The recent inspection by the Food Standards Agency awarded top marks for food hygiene in the kitchen, highlighting the team’s dedication to high standards. The inspection considered every aspect of food hygiene, including how food is handled, stored and prepared, as well as the cleanliness of the facilities and how food safety is managed.

Lawley Bank Court’s restaurant, aptly named Taste, is an integral part of community life, providing a welcoming dining atmosphere for residents, visitors and the local community. With a focus on quality ingredients and a full seasonal menu featuring breakfast, lunch, light bites, snacks, and delicious daily specials throughout the week, the restaurant is a popular spot for daily meals and social gatherings. Its continued 5-star food hygiene rating reflects the team’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
