A car crashed into a fountain at a popular Shropshire hotel last night.

The collision happened at the Lion Quays Hotel in Weston Rhyn, Oswestry.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “At 11.12pm on Friday, December 6, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a road traffic collision had taken place.
“One saloon vehicle involved in collision with a fountain. Crews have cordoned off the the area and advised onsite staff to isolate electrics to fountain prior to vehicle recovery attending.”
One fire engine was sent to the scene from Oswestry.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and the police have been contacted for an update.
