Consultants Good2Great specialise in supporting town centres to thrive by helping small local independent businesses, alongside programmes for start-up enterprises and established growing businesses throughout Shropshire, Staffordshire, Dudley, Telford and Wrekin and the West Midlands.
With its hub now firmly established in Bridgnorth's High Street, Good2Great director Sally Themans has continued to invest much of her time this year in developing the ‘Love Bridgnorth’ brand on a voluntary basis, alongside work in Wellington, Shifnal, Market Drayton and Stafford.
She said: “Recent budget changes have made the outlook for the business community challenging across the area.
"We are committed to helping champion small and medium sized businesses weather the storm, helping them to develop strategies to make them as robust and resilient as possible.”
In 2024, Good2Great has taken a leaf out of its own book by doubling the size of its staff and recruiting a wide range of specialist advisors.
“This is a very exciting time for Good2Great," said boss Johnny Themans.
"We are experiencing a period of dynamic growth, with new contracts being won in Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands."
“As a consequence we have taken on six new members of staff this year and a range of other associates and consultants.”
One of the most significant milestones for Good2Great has been the establishment of The Printworks, an innovative project which transformed a derelict building in the centre of Bridgnorth into its new head office and provided ‘hot desks’ and meeting rooms for rent on a short and long-term to other businesses.
