Storm Darragh power cuts latest - More than 1,800 Shrewsbury homes could be without electricity until early hours of Sunday
More than 1,800 homes in Shrewsbury could be without power until the early hours of tomorrow morning, with the Storm Darragh power cut toll now having reached at least 3,200 properties.

The Castlefields, Ditherington and Bayston Hill areas are the main ones suffering in Shrewsbury, with 1,538 homes affected according to the National Grid.
Cound, Wroxeter and Pontesbury have also experienced power cuts as the high winds of Storm Darragh deliver a battering to the county town and surrounding villages.
Power is not expected to be fully restored in Bayston Hill until 4am, while Castlefields and Ditherington are predicted to be back on the grid by 3am.
Pontesbury is unlikely to be restored fully until 4am, while Cound and Wroxeter should have power back by 1am.
Dawley in Telford is one of the more recent areas for a power cut to be declared today, with 189 homes without electricity. It is expected to be fully resorted by 1am.
Bridgnorth, Telford, Church Stretton and Bishops Castle are among other areas affected.

Meanwhile, police have urged people to only call 999 if there is an immediate risk to life.
A West Mercia Police spokeswoman said: " We’re receiving a huge number of calls in relation to blocked roads and damage caused by Storm Darragh.
"Any issues relating to blocked roads should be reported to your local council."
